Kamfanin Sinopec News Network ya ruwaito a ranar 28 ga watan Yuni cewa bayan Sakataren Kasuwanci na Burtaniya Kwasi Kwarteng ya ziyarci Oslo, kamfanin mai da iskar gas na Norway Equinor ya ce a ranar Talata ya kara yawan burin samar da hydrogen a Burtaniya zuwa 1.8 GW (GW).
Equinor ta ce tana shirin ƙara ƙarfin samar da hydrogen mai ƙarancin carbon 1.2 GW, musamman don samar da hydrogen na Keadby. Wannan ita ce babbar tashar samar da wutar lantarki ta hydrogen 100% a duniya da Equinor da kamfanin samar da wutar lantarki na Burtaniya SSE suka haɗa kai.
Ta ƙara da cewa, tana jiran goyon bayan gwamnatin Birtaniya, kamfanin zai iya fara aiki kafin ƙarshen shekaru goma.
Shugaban kamfanin Equinor, Anders Opedal, ya ce aikin kamfanin zai taimaka wa Birtaniya cimma burinta na sauyin yanayi. Ya halarci taron da Kwarteng da Ministar Man Fetur da Makamashi ta Norway, Tina Bru.
A cikin wata sanarwa, Opedal ta ce: "Ayyukanmu masu ƙarancin sinadarin carbon a Burtaniya an gina su ne bisa ga ƙwarewarmu ta masana'antu kuma za su taka muhimmiyar rawa a matsayin jagora a tsakiyar masana'antar Burtaniya."
Manufar Burtaniya ita ce cimma nasarar fitar da hayakin carbon daga waje nan da shekarar 2050 da kuma samar da wutar lantarki mai tsafta ta GW 5 nan da shekarar 2030, kuma tana ba da tallafin kuɗi ga wasu ayyukan rage fitar da hayakin carbon.
Equinor ta yi shirin gina masana'antar samar da iskar gas mai karfin 0.6 GW a arewa maso gabashin Ingila domin samar da sinadarin hydrogen mai launin shuɗi daga iskar gas yayin da take kama hayakin carbon dioxide (CO2) da ke da alaƙa da shi.
Kamfanin yana kuma cikin wani aiki na haɓaka sufuri da adana kayan aikin carbon dioxide a yankin.
Ana ɗaukar samar da hydrogen daga ruwa ta hanyar amfani da wutar lantarki mai sabuntawa ko haɗakar kamawa da adana carbon (CCS) don samar da hydrogen daga iskar gas a matsayin muhimmin abu ga rage gurɓatar masana'antu kamar ƙarfe da sinadarai.
A zamanin yau, yawancin hydrogen ana samar da su ne daga iskar gas, kuma ana fitar da carbon dioxide mai alaƙa da shi zuwa sararin samaniya.
