Kamfanin dillancin labaran Sinopec ya bayar da rahoton cewa, a ranar 28 ga watan Yuni bayan da sakataren harkokin kasuwanci na kasar Birtaniya Kwasi Kwarteng ya ziyarci birnin Oslo, kamfanin mai da iskar gas na kasar Norway Equinor ya fada a ranar Talata cewa, ya daga matsayinsa na samar da hydrogen a kasar Birtaniya zuwa 1.8 GW (GW).

Equinor ya ce yana shirin ƙara 1.2 GW na ƙananan ƙarfin samar da hydrogen, musamman don samar da Keadby hydrogen.Wannan ita ce babbar tashar samar da wutar lantarki mai girman kashi 100% a duniya tare da hadin gwiwar Equinor da kamfanin SSE na Burtaniya.

Ya kara da cewa, jiran tallafin gwamnatin Burtaniya, kamfanin na iya fara aiki kafin karshen shekaru goma.

Shugaban kamfanin Equinor Anders Opedal ya bayyana cewa, aikin da kamfanin zai yi zai taimaka wa Birtaniya cimma burinta na yanayi.Ya halarci taron da Kwarteng da ministar man fetur da makamashi ta Norway Tina Bru.

A cikin wata sanarwa da Opedal ya fitar ya ce: "Ayyukanmu masu karamin karfi a Burtaniya an gina su ne bisa kwarewar masana'antu kuma za su taka muhimmiyar rawa a matsayin jagora a tsakiyar masana'antar Burtaniya."

Manufar Burtaniya ita ce cimma nasarar isar da iskar carbon da ba ta dace ba nan da shekarar 2050 da 5 GW na karfin samar da hydrogen mai tsafta nan da shekarar 2030, kuma tana ba da tallafin kudi don wasu ayyukan rage iskar gas.

Equinor ya shirya gina wata shuka mai karfin 0.6 GW a arewa maso gabashin Ingila don samar da abin da ake kira "blue" hydrogen daga iskar gas yayin da yake kama hayakin carbon dioxide (CO2).

Har ila yau, kamfanin yana da hannu a cikin wani aiki na bunkasa sufurin carbon dioxide da kayayyakin ajiya a yankin.

Samar da hydrogen daga ruwa ta hanyar amfani da wutar lantarki mai sabuntawa ko haɗakarwar carbon da adanawa (CCS) don samar da hydrogen daga iskar gas ana ɗaukarsa yana da mahimmanci ga lalatawar masana'antu kamar ƙarfe da sinadarai.

A zamanin yau, yawancin hydrogen ana samar da su ne daga iskar gas, kuma carbon dioxide da ke da alaƙa yana fitowa cikin yanayi.
